Apply for an Absentee Ballot

Within 31 days of an election, if you meet the absentee voting criteria above and wish to absentee vote in person, visit the Town Clerk's Office at 110 Myrtle Avenue (203-341-1110) Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Registered voters can submit their Absentee Ballot Application, receive their Absentee Ballot and vote in the same visit.

Everyone is eligible to mark COVID-19 as a reason for using an Absentee Ballot in 2021.

Absentee voting in Connecticut is a two-step process. A completed and signed Absentee Ballot Application must be filed with the Town Clerk before a ballot is issued. (It can be mailed to you, even overseas.) You can download a CT Absentee Ballot Application from the Secretary of State’s office here:
